game called life

WAITING IN THE CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS OFFICE.

Guys rest assured once you start to carry on or look after your business,or start doing a job ,youll have to tackle a lot of proffessionals, and trust me you cant survive without them and also we have a tendancy to hire the best ,n trust me the best are seriously busy n they are gonna make you wait hours outside their offices.

I had to file returns for this years financial year which i did but that one day i had to wait for hours for the same,
That evening i was sitting in the waiting area of the C.A' s office with me was a very old man who was from western maharashtra and had come all the way from there to thane to file his return, strange , but he was waiting for nine hours coz the internet was down ,which gave me a consellation price coz i was just waiting for 2 hours and the old man had developed the ostrich mentallity(i.e constantly raising himself from his sitting position) to check when is his turn ,it was funny but still i was a little scared that may be ill be in a same situation 6 hours later,

In front of us there were a bunch of inturns, giggling ,laughing full of energy, atleast for the first half hour or an hour i was trying to understand their internal jokes that they were cracking but an hour later i lost that gest too for the next one hour i tried to call all the people i know vut to make the matters worse the coverage was down in his office so i stuck all my guns to the videogame in my mobile for bout an hour ,and after that i just sat there like one content saint which i am not ,by a very very far mile.
After some time the old mans work got done and he started to pack his oficial picnic bag in the happines that he didnt have to come back for a year in this office, his face was beaming as if he'd won a lottery and his eyes were asking me ,mines done but what about you,a little later even the inturns started to leave and nw i was on my knees praying to god please ,please pull me out of this mysery ,which actually didnt happen for another hour coz the person sitting inside my C.A'S chamber may have brought with him some fevicol with him i guess ,but later i came to know that this person was filling his returns after six years all together," my luck" or for that matter bad luck.

but it was 30th july so i had no option but to put the hard hours in ,finally the person in the C.A'S chamber rose out of his chair (which i could see coz i too had developed the ostrich mentallity) and my heart started dancing like a peacock after the first rain.

FINALY,i got to enter the C.A'S chamber and within 15 minutes i was out and my work was done.but on an even lighter vein i was the winner as the old man spent more then 9 hours for thejob that took me just 15 minutes and the longish wait of 4 hours,

what an evening,

moral of the story-if you hire the best ,you can get much needed rest (in their offices though).

  1. reminds me of my days @ the CA's office n unlike ur lucky stride of 4 hours I did end up spending days filing my taxes...all I can say is that the sanskrit morale of ' rewards are sweet for the one who waits' somehow doesn't apply to this situation, by the time you file your returns and set foot out of the office claimed by paperwork enough to deforest a jungle, people end up feeling freedom from the procedures...makes me think if taxes should be simplified, people might just start paying them up in full rather than exploring loop holes in the system to save some...thought for your brain
